Suzuki Village has identified rules and regulations below which may be modified or added to in the future. Most of the rules and regulations below are common sense guidelines and in no instance is it our intention to unduly restrict the enjoyment to be provided to both child and caregiver. The primary purpose of the rules and regulations below is to ensure that less than ideal behavior of one family does not distract from the enjoyment of the other families.

Session Schedule Suzuki
Village offers 4 sessions, (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall) of class
programming. Each session will run 12 weeks, unless otherwise noted.
Class Cancellations In rare instances a class that you signed up for may be cancelled for the upcoming or current session. In addition to the class fee being promptly refunded, as a good will gesture for the inconvenience, we will also provide you with a $50 educational class certificate and priority sign-up for any other class offered during the session of the cancelled class.
Absenteeism & Swaps Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds if your child is unable to attend a scheduled classes. However, if your child is not able to attend on their regularly scheduled day, we will try and accommodate you with an alternative class if capacity permits. In order to maintain proper class balances for the benefit of all Suzuki Village children, we must limit make-ups to one per session and the make-ups must be completed within that session. Make-ups will not be issued for Suzuki Village Camps.
Safety/Sickness For the benefit of all other children, please keep sick children at home. We reserve the right to send a child home to get well at our discretion.
Medical Emergencies In the case of an emergency, Suzuki Village will call 911. Suzuki Village does not have medical staff available and cannot provide emergency or other medical treatment.
Classroom Etiquette For the enjoyment of all parents, caregivers and children, we ask that you follow our terms of classroom etiquette:
- Please turn off your cell phones or set them to vibrate. If you need to take a call, please step outside the classroom.
- If your child becomes upset during class, please step outside and return when your child feels better.
- Please use your inside voice when in the classroom.
- For the comfort of all participants in your class, we have a limit of one adult per child in a class, however, when space is available a second adult may also be present. Please confirm space availability with the front desk.
Sibling Policy Younger siblings, under 5 months old, can come to class. However, no strollers or car seats are permitted in the classroom. Older siblings are not permitted in the classrooms.
Clothing Children and adults should wear washable clothing, especially if the class includes working with art materials. Our art supplies are “washable,” however, some do stain in spite of our best efforts. We provide smocks for the children and adults.
Food & Drink Feel free to bring food or drink items you desire from outside Suzuki Village if our offerings are not to your satisfaction. To maintain cleanliness of the classrooms, food or drink is strictly prohibited.
Safety Suzuki Village has several important security measures including security monitoring system (after hours), direct link to the fire department, key pads on all doors (ingress only), and a policy that all visitors must stop by the front desk.
Each parent/guardian has keypad access to the Village. It is the policy of the school that no “tailgating" is allowed. Parents, please do not open the locked door for others, or allow others to “tailgate.” If someone follows you in, or asks you for the code, please notify the office immediately.
Playroom Children are limited to a maximum of two hours per visit in the playroom. For safety reasons, Suzuki Village playroom staff reserves the right to refuse admittance to a child if the number of children per staff member exceeds capacity. In the unlikely event that your child is behaving in a manner that is disruptive to the other children, or staff, you will be asked to leave the playground area for the remainder of the time allotted and a full refund will be given.
Current Playground Hours Playground hours are traditionally during the normal business hours but are both subject to change and on occasion may be closed for special events or activities.
Stroller Policy Strollers are permitted in our lobby area only, per fire safety regulations. A stroller parking area has been provided by the front entrance for your convenience, however, due to space requirements we kindly request that strollers be limited to caregivers that have children at an age where the stroller is a necessity -- that is, if you can leave your stroller in your car, please do to allow room for those caregivers that need stroller access.
Personal Belongings Suzuki Village is not responsible for any personal belongings.
Weather In the event of inclement weather, parents will be contacted with pertinent information via our website or phone recording.
Teacher Communication Feedback on your child’s progress will be provided at the end of each session. While we encourage caregivers to speak with teachers regarding a child’s progress at anytime, please be sensitive and do so in a manner that does not prevent the teacher from teaching the class.
Owner Communication You can also contact us via email concerning any matter at any time. We are available in person, by appointment, by phone, and by email at
